About

We are a small batch sourdough cottage bakery located in Valley Head. Loaves are made by hand in a home kitchen by husband and wife team Haley and Alexander Bouffard. Our bread is slow fermented with a wild yeast culture and baked fresh daily. 

We started this business because we’ve seen some beautiful community created over a shared loaf of bread. We want to spread that love and community beyond our circle and encourage others to do the same! Baking with sourdough is a long and humbling process. In a world that is racing around from one thing to the next, sourdough has helped in teaching us to slow down our lives and be present with our family, friends, and community. We truly hope you can feel a little of that magic when you enjoy our bread.

When we aren’t baking you can find us taking walks with our kids, brewing coffee, homeschooling, reading aloud around the fire, and spending time with family and friends.
